BALBOA PLAZA

By bringing artwork to life, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” creates an immersive artistic experience in historic Balboa Plaza in Coral Gables. The first art installation donated to the Art in Public Places, Public Art in Development Program, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” is an immense dreamy sofa designed by award winning artists Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt of R & R studios. Constructed of spectacular oolite stone, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is reflective of a dreamful landscape. The sofa reigns in class and artistic sophistication at 30 feet long and four feet high, complimented on each side by two towering lamps standing at 14ft high.
